About Eurojobs, the only pan-European jobsite
 Eurojobs

Eurojobs is one of the oldest and still independent job sites in Europe. We went live in September 1995 and have gone from strength to strength since.

Our aim is to make finding work in Europe and working across Europe a lot easier than it has been in the past.

We have experienced (and are still experiencing) the joy of working in another country than the one we were born in. Our (English speaking) IT department is based in Italy and our (Dutch speaking) HQ is based in the United Kingdom.

We applaud the wisdom of previous generations of Europeans to set aside the animosity between them in order to build a peaceful Europe that offers chances to everyone, regardless of political believes, ethnic origin, language or religion. We should not forget the leap of faith they had to take in order to achieve the border-less Europe we know today.

Although there are many things not right in the current European Community, we have only but one choice and that is going forward. We hope that one day we will see a truly democratic Europe, rather than the current unaccountable 'old boys club' in Brussels and the various not included countries.

By offering a truly pan-European job site which treats Europe as one border-less area, we hope that an increasing number of Europeans will start benefiting from the experience of working 'abroad'. The more people do this, the quicker the narrow minded 'nationalist' way of thinking will disappear and the greater the pressure on Brussels will become to reform itself into a true democracy, be it a federal Europe or a nation of independent countries.

The current bureaucratic and unaccountable "dictatorship" of the political elites should not be allowed to continue. Our hard won freedoms are being eroded under the pretext of fighting terrorism. The only forms of "terrorism" we really need to fight are bureaucracy and the resulting indifference amongst our fellow Europeans. Indifference opens the door for minorities (such as politicians) to forcefully impose their will upon the majority.

We need a single, accountable democracy to bring all European peoples together. As long as European heads of state can determine what is best for us without being accountable to a directly chosen parliament we don't live in a democracy.

So, we need to open our minds to Europe. The best way to do this is to work in another country than the one we were born in and experience the wonderful differences Europe has to offer. By living amongst people who speak another language we will soon realise that a typical "French", "German", "Russian", "Turkish", "Macedonian" or other people do not exist. We are all people who speak different languages, but with the same basic needs and believes.

We all want to work, live and love.
And all we happen to be European!

Enjoy Europe, have fun, learn a lot and enjoy the experience.
And work towards a properly democratic Europe!
Keep us posted about what you do to bring Europe together.

Think big, start small!
